Jang Geun Suk Releases Japanese Debut Single in Korea

Posted by Unknown at 17:27

Jang Geun Suk has released his Japanese debut single, “Let Me Cry,” in Korea today. The new single includes two additional tracks in Korean, “Oh My Darling!” and “Melody Made Together.” This album was the top single for two consecutive days on the Japanese Oricon Daily Charts upon its release on Apr. 27th, and ranked #1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart too on May 9th. That made Jang Geun Suk the first male solo artist in 30 years to rank #1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart with a debut album since Kondo Masahiko’s “Sneaker Blues” in 1980. Also, he had to delay his single release a month due to the Japanese earthquake and hasn’t run any album promotions or showcases, making it extra special to achieve the feat.
Jang Geun Suk has been busy filming his new movie, “You’re My Pet.” He just recently finished the “2011 Jang Geun Suk Asian Tour (The CRI Show)” in Singapore and Hong Kong, and is getting ready for shows in Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Shanghai.
